im a new guy to this conmunity, i just wanted to say hi to all, and im not a newbie that will ask dumb questions, um a  3d moddeller and i have about 2 other mods im working on besides starting somin up on this game, i am involed with like 2 other gundam mods for quake 3, just wanted to say hi and like i wanted to know like where can i get tuts to teach me how to get models into this game due to the fact that this game has different specs and needs they need for this game thank u will show some work if i can get it done. thatnk u all peace and love.

Welcome to the HLPBB, Zechs.  I'm sure that shortly you'll be getting the beam of welcoming, or whatever it's called.  Good to have you with us :D I'm not really sure about the tutorials, as I tend to lurk, and not really pay attention.  And I'm tired. :sigh: But I'm sure some of the people who post later will.  :D For now, incase you haven't found it, http://freespace.volitionwatch.com has some tutorials, but I don't think that's all you need.

i use like 3ds max , its a cool program, but i want to learn  maya to finish up my  3d gundam episodes because 3ds i really don't think can handle all of this polys and stuff, well i will show work soon im animating a RX-79[G] gundam right now i have to finish up the biped peace and love and one more thing how do i get a avatar if u have ones here?

rofl any wayz well im going to model some ships will be my first because i usually do gundams and other moblie suits well any way like can u guyz give me some things/ships gundams u want to see, i wil model them im also working or planning on a 3d movie hehehe. well telll me what ships u want to see and give me ref pics thx all for the sucha warm welcome i think im going to cyr .......wait...wait nope not going to i lack th sense of feeling to cry lol thx for the welcome

I told him he would start to get bombarded with offers as soon as he mentioned he was a modler. But if you wanna spark his interest (I have no problem with him "moonlighting" so to speak) then he wants to learn or get the help of a texturer BADLY...

well the mod looks amazing man really it does, but like i want to get this mod off the ground first and get it going for a bit so that everyone can see my skill, after may be the first release i will start to work on other mods but i now i own my full time work to StarDragons mod for now heheh. well anyway im going to make some ships for the game for the feds and the zions and make some moblie suits so peace out hehe, oh yeah if u could help me out a bit target i would apperiate it and help u out once this is off the ground and **** peace and love all

BTW, I was wondering, (if you haven't already) could you start a Gundam mod? Me and my buddies have been arguing for years which would beat which, Gundam or Macross (Robotech), and I'd just love to pit the two together in Freespace 2!
