Just thought I'd say L'Shana Tova and happy new year to everyone. Even if I am ten days late. :D

Yay, it's Yom Kippur! I start the year with a clean slate again! ;)
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

L'Shana Tova  to you, too, Corsair! (Even though since I'm not Jewish I have no idea what "L'Shana Tova" even means...what is that, "Happy New Year"?)

I guess I should warn you, I'm not much for religious traditions. And the concept of fasting...I just don't get it. I mean, I LIKE to eat. If God didn't want me to eat, he wouldn't have given me an esophagus. ;)

I even make it a point to eat hot dogs on Good Friday! ;7 :D

My friend invited me to some fast once, I didn't understand the rationality of it and decided that I would refrain :p But really, why should I spend like 24 hours or whatever not eating to play video games..? (maybe that's a worthwhile cause :p........ actually If I went with her that wouldn't have been bad ;7)

Nope.


Fasting sucks ass, even though I tend to do it subconciously on a monthly basis. ****, I've gone like 2 weeks without eating before and never even noticed. But as a concious activity I'd have to say it ranks right up there with jamming forks in yer eyes (without being paid to do so).

I semi-fast all the time simply because I do not like eating, and the gallon-a-day Gatorade servings keep me going. :p (but then my mom starts bugging me :p)

Fasting for religious reasons seems a bit strange to me, but then again religions aren't supposed to make sense. :p :D
