Some guy actually did that once; I remember seeing a Lego orca model after the C&C fashion somewhere on the internet...

anyway, shoot at the tracks, and see if it'll do nothing :p

Yeah, that'll break the tread, but those can be field-replaced in 5 minutes if the crew knows what they're doing.

No, they can't. The only "wheel" connected to the engine is not touching the ground.

4-ton tank? Wow - must be some sort of anti-gravity armor... and hull... and electronics.... and crew.... and ammo.... ;) Your average tank is around the 70-80 ton range, FYI. The M113 APC is 35 tons. The turret-less tanks I used to ride around in were 52 tons. Dang, they were fun. :D

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Bah - are you even hinting at comparing Renegade to reality? :wtf: I've also "played" reality in Jenin; we didn't dare stick our heads out of the hatches. But on the one occasion when people needed to be outside, well, have you ever heard of coordinated cover fire? ;7 Or even better, making an example. We have APC-mounted gattling guns - 0.7" IIRC - that were originally created as an anti-air platform. But you'd be amazed at what they can do to reinforced concrete, especially when each bullet/shell has 2/3rds the explosive force of a Mk. 4 Fragmentation Grenade, and it spews them out at around 7000 rounds per minute... ;7 ;7 ;7 Remember, in real life, dead is dead - there's no such thing as respawning.

EDIT: Corrected the explosive force of the gattling gun bullets. :D

What?  Are you saying life isn't like Grand Theft Auto 3!?!?!?!  Awww...and I was about to go steal a 400,000 dollar car and kill some cops and get me a couple of naked prositutes!  :(

And my bad, thinking of something else that could run without the tracks then...hhmmmm  don't remeber what is was though.  :blah:
It's a fact.  Stupid people have stupid children.  If you are stupid, don't have sex.  If you insist on having sex.  Have sex with animals.  If you have sex with an animal.  Make sure the animal is smarter than you are.  Just encase of some biological fluke you and the animal have offspring, they won't be as stupid as you are.   One more thing.  Don't assume the animal is protected.  If the animal has a condom, or if female some interuterian device, insist they wear it.  Help stop this mindless mindlessness.  Keep your stupidty to yourself.  This message was brought to you by the Committee of Concerned Citizens that are Smarter than You are.
