Is there any way to resize a .ani without extracting every frame, resizing them, then putting them back. This isn't that hard, but I need tor resize some pretty long .ani's. Any help?

It ought to be though, 'cos it's hell going through every frame and resizing it!

I need to resize a few fs1 .ani's that are a few hundred frames long. That's hard!

You don`t need to resize all the pictures yourself you know! The batch process options on a program like irfan view should resize all the pics in a minute or two, so what's the problem?

Not to sound like a complete idiot, but how does PSP do it?

Actually, I was wrong. PSP7 can only save images as one type or something like that, through File -> Batch Conversion.

Ha, photoshop rises to the top again, it can do batch conversion to any file format with any kind of modification :D

Download Irfan View chose batch convert from the options menu and then click on the advanced options button to mess around with the resize options. Add all the files you want converted and set it going. Shouldn`t take more than a few minutes for each set of files.

And unlike Photoshop Irfan view is free

if you want to do it in Paint Shop Pro 7

extract all the frames, create a new animation in animation shop

go though the wizard and set the animation size to that of the original extracted pictures, select them all starting with the last and moving to the first (that will mean the animation will be in order) create the animation, now go to "resize animation" in the top options somewhere resize to what you want, it will use AA if you increase the colour depth to 16m i think. now this is done highlight all the frames of the animation right click and go to "save frames as " save them off...you can just about them to number 0001 correctly etc as well though i think it starts with 0000 which means you normally have to add a frame to the beginning ....very fussy but it works
