I want to rip the maps from XWA, so I searched for a pot extractor... I found one, but it doesn't work  
could someone sned one to me, or at least tell me a place where I can find one that really works?

Um... Venom? When you extract files from an OPT, they become dxf files, which have no textures. So the textures are kept seperately so that if you want to convert an OPT to a .3ds you would have to retexture the thing.

But since all you need is a map, try Ace_Dxf, but that doesn't work on all OPTs. There are other tools for textures, and u can find there at http://www.darksaber.freeserve.co.uk/

Bah, I don't care, I just want to stea... to rip the maps so they have another new brilliant life in the FS2 engine   (ok, torned, cut, mixed and with new colours, but what the hell   )

Hey, I was wandering on that site (very cool) btw), and I found oout they liked mixing Ties and whatever-wings a lot  
But I also found out they ripped our very own colossus!!! yayh! Bah, it doesn't look the same (it looks better), but whatever

ooook... I've extracted all the maps... let me tell you it was painfull, the stupid prog allowed me to extract maps from only one opt at a time, and there's about 340 of them! Now the funny part, deleting the duplicate maps (a lot of them, specially the death star ones) and classing them. Bah, that's a new big map folder to add to my 3ds maps, and there's a lot of great stuff to be used
