Well, you see... you don't have to carry everything on your shoulders. There are always other people that actually _like_ to do these kinds of things(like me :p) If you feel that interviewing should be a job only for the HLP founders/current admins, thats fine...but I think its much more efficient and less time consuming for you guys to just let someone else do it.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

easy p1mpage for hosted projects? an interview with the leaders of every hosted project could be interesting.

Yeah, it was about SOpO, and no, I haven't finished it nor have I canceled it - it's next in line for the QM team after DOE.

It's especially funny if you have no idea what they are and you just read it out loud to yourself.. it would be like singing happy birthday except with the "tradtitional" words replaced with some such as "Hodiq" and "Juvka"

I would love to have some purpose here other than spammer :D

Can someone post some links to examples of these interviews?

I don't know much about FreeSpace or rendering but my writing skills are exceptional.  With some FS background info and a bit of coaching as to what types of questions you want asked I could probably handle this.

What sayeth The Prophet?

I can't give you any examples; I doubt you need them, really. If you insist, there are probably interviews over at VWatch or maybe the Descent Network. As for what would interest, well seriously, look around HLP. Is there any subject that we have not at one point or another touched upon?

But for saftey's sake, I'd say try to limit it to FS, MOD, art (2 and 3D), and perhaps games in general. Aside from that, AFAIC (As Far As I Care), the sky's the limit!

Actually, I've got a good idea for an interview, make it real professional-like...

I: So, aside from providing, ah, "pearls of wisdom" for the community, what do you do?

ME: Well, I'm currently a RNC on the DNK-MA, and am local coordinator for the SOAP on the ROPE, and in my spare time I run TTP projects.

Oh, and I'm sub-head directorial administrative assistant second class of the GItTA-FRCHENNKHNeHROGH.

Give it that real HLP feel, ya know?
