In the beginning..there was descent..
Shortly thereafter, there was Descent II
Then Freespace was born..and a new era began..
Fredding and modding were new and the freespace forums alive..
Thereafter came Descent III with the improved graphics and better weapons..
And finally, all saw the light...it was Freespace 2...
Then..Evil struck just before the point of enlightenment....the Freespace project was shut down...
With the project ended and the fans left to waft in the cold..
We banded together, and collaborated with each other, just getting on our feet with HLP becoming more popular after the fall of the FS2 forums...
Then..evil struck again..pxo is almost gone..and there are not many squads left..
Here..now we stand...making our own stories to take place of the ending we all so desperately wanted...
With the continuing campaigns and the Souce Code Project moving along..we are the few, the proud, the strong..the FS pilots..

Yeah..but sometimes..(most times)  RL issues get in the way...college and work..

On another note, here's an idea - maybe Outrage will end up making Freespace 3, as Volition were written down as possible developers for Descent 4. Just a thought.
