By Jove, you're right! In the original GTEx? Dev Thread, I mentioned a gas processing facility, and this could be either that, or a shipyard add-on! Solid Snake, whatcha say? You wanna combine forces here? ;7

I'll give you the source file if that what your getting at.

I have a question;
when converting to truespace *.cob,  do I convert into binary or text? does it matter?

That'd be awesome - I'll PM you my address. Not for public consumption, you know - I try to avoid spam and all that. ;)

Converting from what format, in what program?

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

I see it being used for multiple roles.  From a small processing station to science analysis, or perhaps an advanced signal relay station (big awacs!) with the ship in the middle it wouldn't interfear with the advanced 3d radar array. I like the shipyard look. Maybe thought it fits only smaller ships, the multiple ganymedes mean that the ships it can build are built faster! Is this for a mod or by itself? (Drools)
Don't think of it as being outnumbered. Think of it as having a wide target selection !

Don't forget the docking points!
This refinery should have docking points so that gas mining ships can dock with it to transfer over the deuterium directly to the refinery.

(If that won't work, the refinery should still have docking points so that transports like the Argo and Elysium can act as a go-between for the gas miners and the refinery, i.e. transport would dock with the gas miner, transfer the deuterium onboard the transport, then undock with the gas miner and dock with the refinery).

Are the gas miners in the screenshots able to undock with the refinery rings, or are they a permanent part of the mod?

Since it is a different model each time, I would assume that they are there for scale alone, not even part of the model.

It looks like the mating of a keyhole (the general shape), a fish (the 'tail' at the bottom) and a pikachu (the arms) more than anything else.
