Ok, maybe this is a bit whimsicle, but it's pretty interesting:

We start with a basic principle for instance, our current one is propulsion. Then, everyone contributes to it, and we make a theory based on the mathimaticians, designers and dreamer's ideas.
Then, someone (preferably not me, I've had some bad run-ins with them ) submits it to NASA, or some other such agency to see what they think....


If anyone wants to do this, then I'll start another topic based on the theme, and we'll start it off!

Also, who says it has to be different? Watson and Crick started their theories based on "gossip": What other people were saying, studying, etc.
