Why? They move, they shoot, and they don't crash upon loading. They lack interface art, but I can take some from another ship.

some reasons:

1. It is not looking so fine while you are close to it. This is a reason I took a shot from that distance.
2. Releasing the ISD and the X-wing would demand eapon tables, and we don't want our secrets revealed as of this moment.
3. The X-wing is unLODed(as I know), and this can make even the strongest machines slowing down drammatically and it makes the game unplayably slow .... testing that mission I have recently done was a hell ....
4. We will release them with a demo or a full campaign.
5. Some internal problems that non-SW staffers may not know about.(This is the most IMPORTANT point)
6. It's strength and anything else are unbalanced, and the game performance is still not optimized.

I still have half way done (puny looking hey-I'm-from-Tie-Fighter-Collection-CD) Y-wing I tried to make a long ago with Truespace as testing

Its mere skeleton, needs bit fixing, but at least engines are looking quite good. Assuming you want it or have any use for it PM me.

this isd is already free to download somewhere, since it is an old mod created originally for fs1 (and it means it's a bit crappy), it isn't our job our isd is -or so I hope- in progress.
the xwing doesn't have lods so far, right, it's something i'll have to fix one day or the other, and I also want in future to make a destroyable rotating r2d2, and change few things in it's geometry, but for the moment I prefer to focus my efforts on new things, like that damned corvette, wich is the more painful ship I've ever made (but that will also result in the best looking one:))
