Try running a search of YOUR entire hard drive. Last week when I was installing my new DSL modem :smiles in happines about finally having DSL instead of Dial-Up: the installer wasn't able to find a couple of files. So I went to Start - Search - type the whole name of the file and then search "My Computer" (your computer in this case

).
If you find the file, if it's the installer that it's not finding the file, just specify the directory where it is.
For example, my installer was looking for ****.dll in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM, but the file was in C:\WINDOWS so just erase the "SYSTEM" on the "look in" field. Don't ask me why this happened to me with like 5 files, I just know now my DSL is up and running after finding them in other directories.
Hope I could be of at least a little help!!!
