Cruiser? (GTC instead of GTCv kekekeke)

Question: How many Typhons there were left in operational use in the beginning of FS2?

To quote the tech description, " Though a handful of modified Typhons remain in service"

I can't remember it ever having been mentioned.  I know that you see one in game.

Deimos class corvette is incorrectly referred to as...?
talking about FS2 main campaign here, yes.

The 'GTCv Monitor' is called the 'GTA Monitor' in the briefing for 'Endgame'.

Due to the extreme yeild of the Harbringer bomb, what was the maximum number allowed on one ship at any given time in FS1?

Six? Two in each Ursa secondary bank, I believe.

I guess Boanerges pilots need special permission, then, as they can carry eight (I believe.)

Six is right , and the Boanerges wasn't around when that cap was in place.  It's in the tech description for them though (or maybe it's the command briefing, whatever) so I figured that it was fair game.  Next question!

The Deimos class corvette is occasionally referred to instead of "GTCv" as "GTC"

Ex: We're deploying Delta wing and the GTC Diomedes to assist. Standby. (The Sicilian Defense)

"This is the GTC Parapet. We have orders to blockade the Capella jump node and we must not leave our position..."

All NTF corvettes (with the exception of the Amakuni from Rebel Intercept) are all designated "NTCv"

Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I guess it's my turn, then.

What do all the new bombers for FS2 have in common?

Correct, no turrets. For the record, in FS1, the heavy Terran bombers had one turret each, the Vasudans had two, and the Shivans had four.

Jacc, you're at bat. What's the question?

God damnit, again..
Easy one here: What does the name Rakshasa mean and what is it?

Rakshasa was a humanoid tiger-demon from Hindu mythology.

Can't think beyond there...

The rakshasa is a character from the Lion King! :D

The D.H is a version with a modified engine that gives it better maneuverability and speed, with virtually unchanged armor and loadout (and a sexier texture too :D)

Now my ques:

Which corporation produced the original Hercules? Which one now produces the Herc II?
