Actually it is my 3rd ever done render, but it is the first of the better ones. Th first two had crapy engine glows or almost no glows and there were no beams. Thanks on the blending tip. I will work on it a bit tonight.

Still see a 1x1 blank gif...

Check the Warlocks link.
Dang! I need to find a good site that can host my work.

Now about that site, can anyone point me to something other than VillagePhotos, Geocities or Angelfire. I just finished a new render and I need comments and suggestions. I was even able to remove the evil flares and I have improoved the engine glows on ships. Come on people, help me out here! Please.

Ok. Here are the renders I created. Tell me what you think. Note that this is on Geocities and there might be problems with viewing these pics.

The one below is made black and white. You know, in memorium of the Galatea and the Great War.

Rrrgh...

1. Get your own account and webspace. It doesn't cost much.

2. Fattonys has an upload for some light stuff, so long as you don't take up too much space I think that's what the upload service is there for, until you have your own space.

I did follow the link.  Nothing but a 1x1 image called 'spacer.gif'.

Anywho, the two pictures you posted just recently show up just fine.  If I were you, I'd concentrate more on the stars.  They're too uniform, and they all appear to be the same brightness.  I'd suggest that you use two of three different starfield filters (assuming you're using MAX).  A nebula in the background couldn't hurt either.  Don't use a bitmap nebula either.  Use multiple noise filters instead.  They look a whole lot better, and actually look good in animations. :)

Thanks for the tips but I didn't use max or anything like that. If you have seen my previous posts, I only use MS pain and Paint shop pro 7. I don't know yet how to add backgrounds but it has to do something with layers. Anyway, what I think I did worked out better is getting off those evil lense flares. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

So which one do you like better? The colored one or the black & white one?

By the way, I made a background to stick to this render of myne, but I don't know how. It has something to do with layers. Can some of you help me out here?
