I think its part of the movie, and I don't think alot of people can get inside those things.

It is part of the movie sound. The only way we're gonna get it is from Volition. Loads of people want it though, including myself. Without all the laser shots explosions.

EDIT: Record the intro though, you may be able to pull it off by lowering some levels and messing around with it for a while.

They did release the FS1 intro music seperately as a website download; was that ever done with the FS2 music?

There is a program out there called Game Audio Player that can rip the audio out of an mve file, but the intro audio of course contains all the other sounds.

If I'm not mistaken, the intro music and the endgame music are really similar, and there is less interferance in the endgame. Well, except for the whole supernova thing...

Anyway, with a combination of the two and some good sound-editing software, it should be possible.

It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

There has been a seperated music from Endgame, but me thinks INTRO is better. Especially the part where The Manticore chases the Herc.

They aren`t at all similar. I`m suprised you confused them.

The kast part of the endgame music IS similiar ( Extremely ) to the fs1 mainhall music though... I THINK it is similiar to the fs1 endgame also.

We could pout it all together as good in game battle music. with a skilled sound editer that is.
