Hokay, went and saw me
28 Days Later last night. Imagine Omega Man meets Resident Evil, but English, and you've pretty much got it. Not the best movie ever, but it's got squaddies with SA80s blasting seven bells out of plague-ridden zombie critters, and
that's what counts. For the record, I dunno if you Merry Cans will be seeing it, but give it a look if you can since I think it makes an excellent diversion from all those Hollywood sci-fi action movies whilst avoiding the pitfall of being crap.

OK, it sounds crap, but the trailer was both

... a squad of British soldiers capture a forward German trench which was inexplicably abandoned... or so they think (cue uber-dead German soldiers and much footage of miscellaneous body parts). I'll be there when it opens
