I'd buy it, but I don't know if I should because I already have the Sci-Fi Sim of the Year edition. What's different about the DVD edition?

My guess: It doesn't have the SotY extras (they weren't mentioned) and requires a DVD-ROM drive to use. In other words, I think it's the original FS2 put on a DVD instead of CDs. But I could be wrong. (I don't have a DVD drive anyways but do have my FS2 CDs so don't need that version.)

Good call. It could be a good link for people who didn't play Freespace 2 yet so they can see it's glorry on DVD. :) But I allready have FS2.

Seeing as my Disc 1 got stolen/lost/don't know where it is tore the house apart. I would buy it....but I don't have a credit card.

yeah, but i've never heard of the FS2 DVD, only of the FS1 DVD, that's why i made the mistake :)

i lost my discs once, guees where i found them, in a bag with old clothing that where to be thrown out or given to some welfare organisation.
