I found my old copy of Master of Magic:cool: and I want to play it, but it tells me I need 2 MB of Expanded Memory.  Does anyone know of a program or procedure that can enable Windows to set aside an Expanded Memory Cache?
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

Well, try putting these lines into your config.sys

Device=c:\windows\himem.sys  //This is almost always there.
Device=c:\windows\emm386.exe noems or ram //I think it's one of these  two.
Assuming that emm386 exists in the windows folder and that windows reads them during startup. Otherwise create a shortcut and perhaps there's some sort of memory options you can tweak. you could in w95, IIRC.

My memory's a bit shaky on this.  :nervous:
