Sorry to hear of this; I never did anything more there than occasionally lurking, but it is apparent that it was, however indirectly, a pretty big part of the FS community.

What caused you to make this decision, though? Some recent problems or something?

IIRC they've had **** from their server for a long time now. Finally got to the point fasting was more appealing than the spam I suppose.

That was pretty shocking, at first I thought it was  a joke... but apparently it's not. (I heard it first from Deadman)

Actually...the Rift may be back, not on Warpstorm but another forum that we were once associated with (and that needs some rebuilding) but don't take that as a for sure.

Possibly. Once DS gets back online, I'm gonna talk with him about the two of us rebuilding it. The Rift would get a home again.
