'OMG, they killed Data!' (or was it Kenny?) :p
It came from outer space! What? Dunno, but it's going back on the next flight!

  • Groooove Evening, viewers!
Data's death was meaningful, saving the Eneterprise crew (and earth in the end, supposedly), but still.. ugh. I wanted to scream and break things and cry and write hate mail and.. lol, he's always been my favorite. And then he doesn't even get to say goodbye to anyone's face, just blows up. Too sad for me.. :( :( :( (I'm a cry baby if no one noticed :D ) Oh well, it was still good... *sigh* I guess... *bawls*

Hm...no doubt of that. Is there anything more stupid like starting a totally pointless topic? Admins (in my opinion) are here to act as an example of people with rational thinking, not like people who post a totally stupid topic because they are bored or because they want to display their power (we know how and why) while, we....

You realize you're walking on dangerous ground here, don't you? If you want to keep complaining, please go somewhere else.

Good thing I saw it LAST NIGHT! Thing I got on teh net trying to find those cool A$$ED ships to blow up my Sovvy

Anyway I ran  into a lot of sites that had reviews and there was a link to Wesley's page. Now I actually liked Wesley so I decided to take a look (though he's 30 now and hadn't been in a show for YEARS) but anyway HE said that he was in a two day shoot and then they CUT him almost totally out. Best he got was a quick flash (No dialogue) at he first 5 mins. If I had know that I would have looked harder but this was my first viewing and I just wanted to enjoy the film, not nictpick. He's either dancing on the floor or sitting at a table with the other wedding guests. At least he's in it. BUT that SUCKS cause of the way he left and they don't explain the reconciliation, with him being SURROUNDED by starfleet personel now that his character is so anti-society LOL (AKA space-hippie)

Yeah, Brent Spiner said (Data has to DIE), He wanted to die in Insurrection but Rick Berman (U know the guy who wanted Capt Sulu to be a Helmsman again for Generations - Meh) said, "Sorry Brent, kill you NEXT time!" Spiner was one of the 3 who WROTE Nemisis. That way he made damn sure Data got killed but in the way he wanted (no Kirk 4 million dollar reshoots)

But (this IS the spoiler thread right?) B-4 (that's all I'm going to say) IT was so touching when data died, Picard in shock, seconds left. Instead of giving Picard a total emotinal breakdown data just got him off that ship and then said goodbye for himself. Not a sound was in the theater for like 15 mins until the end scene. We all laughed lightly as we knew that SOMEDAY DATA would return..

Now I am sure they WILL be more ST movies (as long as we got $ they want it!) ;7  BUt a pure Next Gen movie is NOT gonna happen! Too many of the crew said the're done with it! (I'd never get sick of it, hell I've been a fan for *Thinks* 26 years   Now a Mixed crew of old and NEW would be feasible. Now as to a Voyager movie, that's nix cause of Admiral Janeway's cameo... UNless they want to go back in time again (Endgame was good leave it alone - now Federation has Transphasic Torpedoes and Deployable Armor -ME want!!! :drevil: ).

Now maybe an ENTERPRISE movie might be feasible in 3 or 4 years....? I'm just hoping they will have a new series set after nemesis and then movies to follow (But by then we will have half that tech  ) L8tr! I'm done rambling...

WESLEY CRUSHER!!!!

Where is he in the movie/ or mentioned in the movie??

Can someone point this out to me??

Oh..and at the end...where they obviously kill data....i wanted to jump and rip the screen down for it's complete heresy..

Wesley was in the movie, for like 30 seconds, he was sitting to the right of beverly crusher during the wedding (psst he was wearing a star fleet uniform) Why he was there is beyond me, As i remember from TNG, he ascended to another plain of being or something like that.

The movie sort looked like this last night (replace the veritech with BIG A$$ed dreadnaught)

Die Picard!!!

Not really. Well sometimes but not that often. Usually when we (ordinary members) post something pointless, it gets closed soon. But when the other side posts...well...a different story there.

Compare Data's death, anyone? :D

Lesse....

1. He saved the Enterprise crew from a weapon that would kill them all in 8 seconds

2. He did it selflessly, using his one last transporter device to get Picard off the Romulan ship

3. He went down with one helluva bang! :D
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

Are the movies like sequals or do they have their own special storyline without continuations (ie Final Fantasy, James Bond)?
I finally destoryed the Shivan armada and all I got was this lousy T shirt.

They arent so much sequels of the previous movies, but more like sequels of the series. For example, in First Contact the main villain race were the Borg, who were introduced in the Next Generation series, so it was like a continuation of the series, if you take my meaning.
