Naa....in several scenes the Enterprise unleashed Quantum torpedoes......the torpedo barrage that took out the cloak on the Scimitar was a crap load of Quantum torpedoes.  My guess is that they are a more precious commodity and they are suplemented by standard Photons which are everywhere.

guess I have missed something anyway his original scene was about 2 min long
