What's not fun about that, eh??? ;)

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

On the "Matrix Terminator tm" concept, perhaps the Terminator future happens prior to the Matrix/Skynet requiring humans as a source of power? As Reece told whats her face about the future in T1 he said something about the humans first being enslaved and numbered as cattle, then used as slave labor and what not. Perhaps allready then the Matrix/Skynet was figuring out someway to use people as an alternate source of energy. Then when the humans began they're revolution, this disrupted the Matrix/Skynet's plan for a little while. Thus begins the Terminator movie series. But in the end, the humans lose, Connor I suppose bites the dust, and as a last resort, they torch the sky and head underground... With whatever humans are left, the Matrix/Skynet gathers them up and plugs them into itself for power...

:nervous: Yeah.....

it just seems very similar, not that I would actualy want to see the two to be made into the same movie, but it seems like the matrix has a lot of similar concepts and designs and seems like it could be a hundred years in to the future,
it seems like the terminater future seems a lot like the history of the matrix, I'm sure the machines wouldn't totaly kill all humans, simply due to the fact that they may have some use eventualy

Yeah. Its all boils down to the "if you kill you're dad in the past, then you don't exists, thus would'nt be able to kill him in the first place..."

So the machines HAVE to go back in time to stop connor, cause that allows humans to create them. And they MUST allow the humans in the future to revolt so that they could send the terminator back in time in the first place. So they can't wipe out all the humans, cause theres that COSMIC BOND connecting the two. Like in the Matrix. Humans are bound to the Matrix. EEerie...

Matrix and Terminator? Get out of here...

Now, Robocop vs Terminator, that was a good idea. The story goes that when Skynet rose to power, it recognised Robocop as a threat, and dissasembled him but kept his personality stored on a computer (**** knows what for). Eventually, Robocop was able to take control of the local computer systems and build himself a new body in the Skynet factories. He entered the new body and started to fight back against Skynet's Terminators... now that'd make a kick-ass film

:wtf: robocop has brains, you can't srore his personality in a computer. plus he's no match for a terminator anyway.

You know what I would like to see? A Terminator movie set in the apocolyptic future where John Conner is already the leader of the Human Resistance and its the final showdown with the Terminators!!! All this time travelling to protect his younger self is tiresome.

well, if they had sucseeded in there atempts to kill Conor then they wouldn't have gone into the past to kill him, becase he never made him selfe into a problem, so he would have survived so he would have made himself a problem for skynet, and it would have gone into the past to kill him and.....

Yeah, I saw the trailer. But all I saw was a couple of terminators walking towards the screen with a Hunter/killer floating in the back... What I REALLY want is "The Two Towers" sorta battle!! Hmm, I dunno. After watching the Two Towers, I watched the trailer, and basically everything I saw after TT paled in comparison. :D But I'm pritty sure there'll be some tidbits of action in the future...

....and the end scene?? You have a numer of "naked" T-300 (or whatever number they were) looking as if they were just itching for a battle. :D
