She's nice - but I hope she makes a good Terminator.. it looks like it's running the risk of trying to make her like Trinity and copy some of the Matrix.

Not that that's a bad thing, but T/T2 had qualities of their own that made them good. They don't need other stuff. The trailer looks great though, lots of developing tech and stuff... yay!

don't worry, she won't have more than 3 lines in the movie, so even trinity talked more :p
But she's nowhere near a s scary as Robert Patrick :doubt: And how can they do better than liquid metal? I've juste checked the trailer, now I should look at the site itself...

during the previews (before LOTR EP2 last night) they showed like 7 trailers, but the audience only applauded and was quiet the whole time for two trailers:
1) Terminator 3
2) Xmen 2

Heh - when an international El-Al flight lands in Tel-Aviv, the passengers applaud. :D

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Meh. It's quite well-known that El-Al has The Best™ airline security. Israelis just like congradulating the pilots on a job well done, as long as they can do so in relative anonymity. :p

well usually they only cheer at three critical points in the movie:

1) when the lights dim and the movie actually starts
2) the 'highlight' of the movie (somewhere in the Helms Deep battle)
3) the end of the movie

this time they cheered during the TRAILER, can you believe it ;)

Yeah, I remember when Estonian Air bought his first two Boeings. 1996 ot 97 it was, I think. Finally, after landing in London, people applauded and some asshole decided to make the shampagne ritual. In the plane... :D [

i'm not talking about movies in general, but for the first showing, at 12:01 AM wednesday morning, people have been waiting in line/sitting down since 4:00 that afternoon (an 8 hour weight), so when the lights finally dim, and the trailers are over and it says "Lord of the Rings" on the screen, everyone starts clapping/applauding...

:)
