A morality question...
Is it wrong to delude newbies to a certain forum into believing that they need to become attached to a certain "vet" and do his bidding for him in order to avoid an unspecified "trouble" from other boardmembers and gain access to certain valuable, rare software controlled by said vet?

And is it wrong to attempt to form a horde out of these newbies and shut down the board, only to have it rebuilt with the aforementioned member as Admin/King?

These internet morals things just seem so abstract and relative to me... it's hard to tell what's what.

Just recently. The newbie still hasn't responded, but he seems pretty clueless... so long as none of the other established members screw it up for me, my power grab has begun. Was just double-checking in case, you know, this sort of thing is frowned upon.

I've found it works to great effect.

As for morality, I tend to skate away from any such arguments and simply do whatever benefits me the most without compromising my evilness and dark power.

Hmm, now that you've told us we can blackmail by saying we'll reveal this little evil plot of yours to said Idiot. :p :drevil:

But then again you're always so anonymous about such issues...

Aw, man, does that mean I have to take down the "warez page" full of links to different viruses, too?

Don't you ever have problems with these sort of sites when you try to get warez?

Hazard of the trade. 'S why you only download from Russian sites, or at least sites where the author didn't spell everything in numbers.

They've got the best warez setup. Don't ask me why- outside of the major rings (which go up and down pretty quickly), the Russians are pretty much the best and safest source, with the most variety and consistently decent cracks (not the best ever, but hey). Kinda hard to read their pages, though.

Anyway, that's irrelevant.

Programs for $1500 trying to sell to teenagers who want to make their favorite porn star model into quake is just wrong and utterly capitalist.. seems kinda ovious why, no?
