Rotations and Warping Out
There's an old "bug" in Freespace that when a vessel has something rotating and goes to warp, the thing stops rotating.

For example, the Faustus has two solar panels that rotate normally in-game.  No problem?  But when it warps out, the panels will STOP rotating as the ship goes into subspace.  It's just - disturbing...

Any thoughts?

Rotations and Warping Out
I think it makes sense. At least the faustus. Since it is an older ship (Unification War it was state of the art) it would have to shut down non-essential systems to get enough power for the subspace drives.

Rotations and Warping Out
Its annoying to TBP as well.  Omega destroyers rotate their gravity sections even during hyperspace transitions.

Rotations and Warping Out
already indentified the cause of this“, and may have a fix on hand.

played around with stopping rotation a while ago, when i wanted a KNOSSOS device to look in-activated.

but would we want a flag in the fred2_open for this ?.

I feel that they should rotate all the time. during warpout, and like they are now in warp-in.

hmmm just tested, seems it also dont rotate during warp-ins :).

should this be fixed too. yes :).

hmmm seems this is not so easy as i thought it would be, needs more studing.
