Hi there. After a long sleep from the Serious Sam community, i have recently returned to it. Some friendly guy by the name of Sandwich (i'm sure you know him) messaged me to let me know of this place.

Im a musician/composer and im eager to get my music and sound effects in as many modifictions and tc's as i can.

My aim is to produce a big show-reel that i can use to "impress" game companies with, thus landin me my dream job

This is where teams like you come in

If you need music for your modifications and tc's, then im your man. I have some examples (kindly linked by our very own Susan Signature!) so feel free to check them out.

I cover a lot of genres, and im VERY experimental. So dont think that i cant handle what you want, just try me! Its free!!

Im also an excellent writer, and i dabble in level design, so if you need anything to do with those, look me up too.

The stuff i have online at the moment, is all mainly atmospheric ambient stuff, and there are some piano stuff ive done too. I have a lot of stuff that would suit games, especially where you need an atmopshere to draw the player in.

(There are some bad ones, you have to realise not everyone will love your stuff, im generally pretty good at pleasing the mass though)

Dont let anyone tell you your music's crap. If your happy with it, its good.

At the same time, dont dismiss ALL comments.. take the constructive comments, and turn the negative comments into.. well.. constructive ones...

Learn some music theory, and dont expect to become the next big star of the world....

my brothers the real musician in my family, he's a session drummer although he's very good live as well.

Personally I dont do very well in front of crowds (karaoke and stuff...) and im happier producing i suppose.

Although im a 3D Animator by trade (eventually)

Cool. Well, i just left college. Ive played in bands, but to be honest, im not much of a band-person ... i cant stand playing in them. There are bands i really dig, Rage Against The Machine and Tool for example, but when it comes to playing with guitarists and drummers.. ugh.. no thanks

So i left college and i start work monday, so that will afford me studio stuff. Im pretty much going for broke. Im just gonna compose as much as i can and pester the games industry till they let me in

well, my course is...uhh...crap, to tell the truth.

I dont like character animation but it soaks up so much of my time I cant do many spaceships anymore
