Regenerating Armour?

:confused: I was wondering if it was possible to make armour be able to regenerate, kind of like the shields.  I was planning on making it a new feature of some Shivan fighters in my campaign.  Is a simple mod of the ships table or a source code project?:confused:

I think you cant do that atm, atleast not without any SC changes. But this would be cool for ships using organic armor plating.

Yes you can actually. Derelict did it.

IIRC you do sabotage subsystem, then you make it a negative number. I haven't messed with it in over a month, so I don't remember, but until someone comes and tells you, you can download derelict and check out the missions where the Lucifer is in dock or one of those missions.

Nothing.

But he wants the same style of regeneration like shields do but then on armor. And shield regeneration is hardcoded as far as i know.

Thats insanity.  On a single warship...like in Derelict, its very easy to do.
