I was going to test some of the new ships in the TVWP in a mission, but whenever I run fred2_open3.4 (actually that and 3.41). my comp just starts going really slow and after a few minutes a window pops up saying FRED2_open3.41.exe has encountered a problem and will now close...

I can't use the original FRED2, because the TVWP is not compatable with the out-of-the-box fs2.

Why not post this in the SCP forum?

In any case, the ships themselves don't require the SCP.  Dump the models into a original-FS2-compatible ship table, then generate a mission with original FRED2, then run original FS2 to test them out.  Do that to make sure the problem lies with the SCP and not with the models themselves.

Well for me, it's not as much SCP as it is with the models I think.. either way it needs tinkerage that is beyond me.

Well ****. It works with the regular fs2 data, but not with the TVWP stuff. I hate it when this happens.

EDIT: I even renamed all the folders so FRED wouldn't recognize them. Still doesn't work.

Wait, wait, wait.  What?  Are you saying that the stuff works with regular FS2 but not the SCP?

Or are you saying that the SCP works with the :V: data but not the TVWP data?
