ADPCM Codec and Win XP
I recently installed Freespace 2 on my new machine with Win XP, but when I launch the game it complains that the ADPCM codec could not be initialized. The game runs fine, but the music and some sounds don't play.

It seems this problem was addressed in the readme file, with installation instructions for the codec for win 9x. Trouble is, I'm using XP and couldn't figure out how to install this. I tried reinstalling audio and video compression, but it didn't work. Under audio compression properties I can remove existing codecs, but couldn't figure out how to install new ones.

So do other people have the music working properly under XP? Any tips how I can install the ADPCM codec? Perhaps I can download it on the net somewhere? Any help would be appreciated.
