So far I'm still not pleased with some of the textures, I need to add some volumetric lighting, lens flares, and... well, build the rest of the bridge, but you can see the back here.

  • I'm a magic man, I've got magic hands.
cool.

For somereason it throws off "cartoon" at me though. not that that makes it bad. I'm assuming that's the "back" of the bridge?

Make the runway textured catwalk come out like a star destroyers (honestly, I can't picture a cap ship bridge any other way besides maybe star trek ones)

It's the textures. They ain't too hot, and they kinda make it look cartoony.

One thing to keep in mind is that it usually helps to have a general theme in your textures- in fact, ideally have only a handful. Things that are built as a unit, such as rooms, tend to get a roughly consistent paint job and decor- you wouldn't have, say, a plate-steel room with bright primary-color paint all over the railings and pipes. Unless you were in a hospital or prison, in which case that'd be cinderblocks, not plate steel, and you wouldn't be going for aesthetics.

Oh, and avoid wrap/parametric/whatever the **** your program calls it mapping at all costs. It's never any good. At all.

Looks good, but indeed the textures make it look cartoony. But keep up the good work and show us the front of the bridge, especialy the fire control panel;7:D

Yes also the lighting, but the FS2 textures are low res so it looks corkey with them:D

It's got 2 FS2 textures used. One near the monitors and the one on the ramp
