Ok, right now I'm trying to figure something out. I'm working on a new campaign. The idea is to follow each part of the Freespace series and have a little side story along each one. They all focus around a group of main characters. The first one I plan to be mostly to see what people thing of the trilogy and so people can become interested and help make it better. The sequals I plan to go all out and make it really cool. I plan to have tons of voice acting, music, and possibly even some movies for it. I'm talking a high quality campaign here. At this point in time, I'm wondering if people would rather see the first one in FS1 or in FS2. If you want the first campaign to be FS2 I need some information to help me make a few of the levels. In Freespace 1 if I set up the events like this:
Subspace drive off-line
when
true
break-warp
alpha1
Subspace drive on-line
when
<
distance
alpha1
waypoint path1;1
750
fix-warp
alpha1
I could set it up so that you can only jump out at jump nodes. This made the game rather interesting and added some new, different features. However I'm not sure how to accomplish this same thing with FS2. I tryed to do this but when pass the node I can still jump. In FS1, if I passed the node it wouldn't allow me to jump. So what is it. FS1 or FS2?
