I could use some opinions about antivirus software. Which one is the best?

The thing is that I'm suspecting a trojan somewhere in my system folder and want to get rid of it. Damn Kazaa.

My personal favorite is ALWIL Avast 4.
http://www.avast.com/
Home version is free.

I have tried many different A-V softwares, and Avast 4 is the best so far.

Although I have to recommend AVG 6 Free version if you have really low-end system. http://www.grisoft.com/

Another question. Which firewalls would you recommend? Not those free ones but something professional.

Well, I like Sygate Personall Firewall Pro. Good protection and good customization.

I had Norton. Lead me to a reformat, because a failed uninstall. Not uninstalling would fux0r my sound card drivers. :wtf:

Use F-Secure.

I dunno what you people have againt the norton. It was the only prog that detected those viruses and resored my system. Others failed to do that.

I hate Norton because I have used Norton Internet Security 2003. Uninstallation sucks. It leaves Norton Anti-Virus left. Good think I had a restore point (XP) made just before I installed the piece of crap.

Norton Personall Firewall also has some incompatibilities with some websites, blocking sending messages on certain types of forums too.

Oh yeah, one of the older program updates to Norton Internet Security 2003 fuxored my system quite efficiently, had to reformat OS partition.

I hate Norton.
