Ravana beams are way too light. Play Freespace 2 again and see that they are actually much darker. By the way, that's done in Max right?

Well yeah. The scene has many lights and they're reflecting from the hangar.

I don't see anything wrong with the scanlines. Its part of the story - screwed situation, screwed image quality.

Reduce the specularity on the Ravanna, esse. It's not a freakin' mirror.;)

The two forward LRED beam cannons are on the lower two 'prongs' of the front four, ie turret01 and turret02.
