well, i downloaded Freespace2 off of the HOTU webiste.

Im kinda dissapointed with it.  I miss the voices, its kinda not as much fun to play with out having the voices.

Im wondering, does anyone have the missing files to download, and if you do is it legal of me to download them?

I really want to play the complete game.

Yeah, the version on HOTU is quite minimalist, with everything except absolutely essential files dropped out; if I remember correctly there are no movies, voices, music, briefing animations or high-res graphics, which would really impact the SP campaign experience. I remember someone saying here that they had put the rest of the files on kazaa a few days ago; check this thread. It is quite legal to get the rest of the files as well, but the problem is that we don't have any place to upload everything at the moment.

Actually neither the download from HotU nor the others are strictly legal but I doubt anyone cares

Wait, why would it not be legal? I personally couldn't care less about that, but there is that license agreement thing.

Amazon is not actually selling it themselves there (they are out of copies, I suppose); it is some independent guy.
