As to the "campaign" idea,. .. first off not ONE that boosted so much crap as had more then a demo, much less actually been completed. Hence why the average HLper is pretty much never going to take this serious.

Exactly, and it's even more so in this case for a couple of other reasons:

1: You have started a number of such threads around here previously, this being the third or fourth one, regarding campaigns that (obviously) never got anywhere.
2: Assuming that this campaign will stay around longer, this thread was still quite unnecessary; are you going to tell everyone "hints" that reveal all of the big surprises in the campaign before you even start making the missions? :wtf:
3: You really need to get someone else to do the spelling/grammar in your campaign, as your posts are hardly comprehensible and makes the public reaction of the campaign even worse. The initial splashes play a significant role in determining how popular the campaign will become, and if you do not have much to show off at the moment, I would suggest you not make all these advertisement threads until you do.
4: I have counted you saying that you have a Sony job and big upcoming project exactly seven times in the last few days where it had no relevance at all, which is rather excessive. Sure it's nice, but I doubt anyone here really cares that much, and it is not exactly something worth boasting about constantly. Also, even in this thread, you said that you will not even be starting work on this for another two months, so um, why exactly did you make these threads right now? :wtf:

All things considered, I think DG's first post in here had it right on the mark. :D

I think ability to form a coherent sentence compensates for any time gap.

Newbie? The guy has been around longer than I have. :p Even still, his hundred posts are enough to put him out of the newbie category, which is why I would expect him to know better than to create a new campaign thread every few months.

OK, look, I know I shouldn't press the whole language thing since your english is better than my foreign, but there's something I have to know - if you can speak the language, then why not just write what you'd say?

Write what I say? Like in Dutch? :wtf:

Example:

Hello, hou ar joe doeing?

I em doeing fijn!

Hou about joe?

Seem hier!

Translation:

Hello, how are you doing?

I am doing fine

How about you?

Same here!

:p

Writing english as you speak it is different in every language.

lol, I'll give you five points for that.

No, I mean... well, for example, I took french and german at school. If I could say a sentance correctly, then I'd just write that sentance down and logic suggests that it would be written correctly.

Example (remember this is school-level and learnt six years ago, so no laughing at me) --> Am Montag habe ich fusball gespielen.

A slightly crude example, but I can say it therefore I can write it. Make sense?

"On monday have I football played" ?

Hmmmpffff... *chuckles* Sorry...

But if he only knows how to speak English it doesn't mean he knows how to write it. Thats the whole point. You just aim at grammar. Its a spelling issue as well.

Yeah, the Germans do grammar backwards from an english point of view. They're like Yoda in that respect - in the past tense, the Germans have the verb on the end of the sentance put. And I'm not convinced I got the spelling right - fusball should have one of those double S thingies in it. But my grammar was on target, I think...
