do not torment the sleep deprived artist, he may be vicious when cornered,
in case of emergency, administer caffeine to the artist,
he will become docile after that,

Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

I'm sure he meant co. Tripple posting on purpose isn't all that necasary...

And uh stealth.. you already crossed one of administrations rules in the request thread. It was said at the very top why the other one was closed and that they don't want millions of people individually asking for avatars. If it's that important, inform the camp leader to make the Avatar list of people who should have them, or harass them on ICQ or any other instant messanging device.

You don't need to show us all your blatant disregard/disrespect for following instructions.

What exactly is the point of this thread? Just because you're an admin on VW doesn't mean people are going to listen to you and obey your orders on HLP. Admins do have the ability to post, too, you know. If they feel that people need to "go easy" on them, any one of them is perfectly capable of taking 30 seconds out of their life to make the request themselves.

1)  what does being an admin of Volitionwatch have to do with anything!?

2)  i'm not "ordering" anyone to do anything, i'm just saying be a bit patient

and when do i triple-post?  the only time i triple-post (and quadruple post, etc.) is when i'm giving updates on progress in a thread, over the course of a few hours/days...

quote from the HLP Request thread:
If at all possible, I'd prefer that project leads gave a full list of people who need access and avatars, this is especially important with the current crop of missing avatars.
End Quote

1) Note the phrase:  IF POSSIBLE and PREFER
2) the last time Grey Wolf was here was weeks ago, so someone's got to request an avatar

just give the admins a break for a while, they'll get things done i'm confident,

If they did that then we would all point and laugh and call them pansys...until they got out the hammer of justice :nervous:

To those posting against Stealth:

Oh, do shut up.  He was trying to be helpful and encourage others to be so as well.  If you have nothing better to do with your energies than bash him for it, that is just sad.

Okay, I see the good intentions here, and thanks Stealth, but if this degenerates into any kind of argument it will be closed, ok? And to everyone: if you have issues, and they're not resolved as quickly as you expected, refrain from posting again about it - contact me through PM or ICQ and I'll do my best to get it sorted out as soon as possible.

:)

I see... Just a tip: if you spot Shrike around the corner, run.

:D

Now really, he's a pit peeved at everything happening lately. So everyone cool down, take a breath, grab a beer (or whatever you might choose to drink) and be a little patient while we get everything organized, ok?

:)

1) It's a reasonable explanation for why you've been acting like you have the authority to tell other forum members what to do, which you've done at least twice so far recently (Also in "We need a change"). In both cases you sounded like you had admin powers to back up your post.

2) Yes, you are. "go easy on the admins for a while" is a command. A request would commonly be phrased with "please" or make some sort of attempt at politeness.

It's a noble sentiment, but the way you presented it wasn't the best way it could have been done. I'll leave it at that. I don't want to see this become another locked thread. :doubt:

i may have phrased it a little wrong, but my intentions were (are) good... if an admin feels like the title of the thread is inappropriate, then he can go ahead and change it, i don't mind.

most people will hopefully get the message i'm trying to get across, and not try to look for any reason to flame me

Whoa, this thread's so incredibly productive it makes me want to take a needle to my nipples and **** a cow upside down on Venus.... To put it lightly.

Tell me, why, oh why the **** in the world did you post a topic on two little sentence that produces very little pertinence in replies?  And I thought you were an advocate of anti-spammery-ness.

:doubt:

If admins want to get a message like this across they'll say it, they don't need authoritative members flooding the forum with "good intentioned" spam.
