It was said at the very top why the other one was closed and that they don't want millions of people individually asking for avatars. If it's that important, inform the camp leader to make the Avatar list of people who should have them, or harass them on ICQ or any other instant messanging device.

What exactly is the point of this thread? Just because you're an admin on VW doesn't mean people are going to listen to you and obey your orders on HLP. Admins do have the ability to post, too, you know. If they feel that people need to "go easy" on them, any one of them is perfectly capable of taking 30 seconds out of their life to make the request themselves.

and when do i triple-post?  the only time i triple-post (and quadruple post, etc.) is when i'm giving updates on progress in a thread, over the course of a few hours/days...

1) It's a reasonable explanation for why you've been acting like you have the authority to tell other forum members what to do, which you've done at least twice so far recently (Also in "We need a change"). In both cases you sounded like you had admin powers to back up your post.

2) Yes, you are. "go easy on the admins for a while" is a command. A request would commonly be phrased with "please" or make some sort of attempt at politeness.

i may have phrased it a little wrong, but my intentions were (are) good... if an admin feels like the title of the thread is inappropriate, then he can go ahead and change it, i don't mind.

most people will hopefully get the message i'm trying to get across, and not try to look for any reason to flame me

Tell me, why, oh why the **** in the world did you post a topic on two little sentence that produces very little pertinence in replies?  And I thought you were an advocate of anti-spammery-ness.



If admins want to get a message like this across they'll say it, they don't need authoritative members flooding the forum with "good intentioned" spam.
