Well it seems we have major competition now that netscape 7 seems to work very well. It's layout is much more user friendly and the navigation is more versatile than microsoft's internet explorer 6.

Try Netscape out and experience the difference!

I dont use Netscape, i use only IE. However i do test all my websites in Netscape first. If IE wasnt already pre-installed on my OS i prolly would stick with netscape. Why waste space on two tools that virtually do the same thing? I dont want to be different that badly.

I open Netscape.com and am immediately bombarded by two pop-ups and AOL ads. No thanks.

I admit the ads are a big mistake but when you have tried the new browser you will think otherwise. I'd have to agree in some context with Lonestar, the main advantage is for testing websites in both browsers!

And also whether you have noticed or not some technologies currently provided by internet explorer conflict with some files in windows, so having a 2 browsers are better than one...and I can tell you that wasting space on a browser is nothing compared to other multimedia files.!!

I use neither... but I will say IE in my experience has shoddy support for many CSS features.

BTW: I use Opera 7 and 6.01

Thats my experience...that and NS6 sucked displaying UBB and vBulletin boards.  It wouldn't format the tables, it wouldn't format the fonts, it was very unappealing.  And it takes over 30 seconds to load...the last one did anyways.  IE comes up in probably 5 seconds.

Just like how I didn't switch to Winamp 3 because of the loadtimes VS its older version.
