Ahem, ok, I admit it.

I bought Freelancer.

And I used the time I should have compiled and released 3.5.1 and fred2_3.5.1 and the updated readme to drink beer and play in the spacelanes....

I'll get back on the stick and have everything packaged by the weekend. Much apologies.

Well, as far as the read me goes, if you want to take it and do it, great :)

You have what I have in the form of that word doc, so, do you need it in another format? Basically it needs cleaned up, with the errors you noticed corrected, etc :)

What else do ya need?

And Freelancer is a blast :)

I'm missing out on the fun! :(

I have a 8 MB video card and is currently stuck on Freespace 2 only mode.

I got the demo and I though it was a bit crap really.... didn't do anything cool NOT A THING! I was expecting more a LOT more.... The control is just crap (unless you a mouse junkie) the ships look stupid (I like blocky stly personaely) and the speech is SO badly put together.... nice way of getting about though.....

And I want a ship that DOSN'T have a radar (or at least can sell it like in eliet!


Did I mention I liked elite and nothing has ever stood up to it yet?;)


Oh and great, Im wating for 3.5.1!!!!:mad: there! I wont forgive you until its out!

I guess you love FreeLancer or hate it.  I think the demo has more content and more playability and replayability than some entire games posses.  That says alot I think.  Maybe it doesn't get too much bigger than the demo in terms of new things that are going to happen...but exploring the nooks and crannys of 52 different star systems is well worth the price of admission...for me.

I feel that FreeLancer addiction coming on.  Which is why I've postponed on buying until the big assignments are done.

this is funny, im playing the game earlier right and in my Light fighter by the Liberty Navy (not the started fighter), i had 2 fighters around me.

i did some serious FS2 nonsense. i stopped, and since i can use a turret view, i shot @ the damn ships flying around me and all they did was circle me. i aint even get shot @ once. this works well in strafing manuevers.

Interesting, I tried that and they smoked me with three missiles and a hail of gunfire :)

I much prefer the Liberty Heavy Fighter...the Defender.  A quick INI change can get you that ship.  I like its big heavy feeling :D

well you can´t sell your radar but can´t say more, btw, i would not be surprised if you could still make the BETA.

Weapon bank allowance has been fixed for about a week.

The desktop crashes, however, are still not fixed, and neither are the null file model loading crashes.  Anyone working on them?

We'll probably need a 3.5.2 when those are fixed. :)

Fred2 3.5.1 does not work with The Babylon Project (3.4 does)
FS2 Open Debug builds (all) do not work with the Babylon Project
