They tried this with Diablo,....failed,.... now there's Everquest out by Swords and Sorcery also. Sad thing is really ,... a half decent GM with the basic D&D books and some knowledge of the game could make it on their own and not worry about paying $30-40 a yet another sorce book ;)

But it's still cool all the same.

Unlike with Diablo, these guys are trying hard to bring in some original D&D rules that can be adapted into other campaigns.
