FREDing is probably going to be for when the MOD is finished.

Do you have HomeWorld and the bigviewer? If so you can start writing TBL entries for the ships, as you will have acess to the specs.
However, divide the ship speeds by 10, or the fighters will be whizzing round at 850m/s.

It's not just a case of writing tables, all of the ships will also have to be rebalanced for FS2.  Simply dividing a factor like speed, while being simple, isn't enough to ensure that TAP is properly balanced.  Remember we are effectively creating a whole different style of game from Homeworld by doing this convertion.

Our primary concern right now is people who can convert and edit the models.  Fredders and table editors aren't that important at this point (though thats not to say that there aren't places open for such people).  Darkage does have a point though, table editing can be dull if you aren't focused.

At the moment a number of the members of TAP's team are busy with one thing or another, be it other projects or real life issues (myself included) so we might also take a look at getting a few extra hands onto the team (new blood can be a good thing).

Most likely thats how it'll be set up.  But it will be balanced for such things and when we get round to it there might also be some alterations done for an open source FS2 version of TAP.  But that's not been discussed indepth yet.  The standard FS2 has priority for the moment.

One set with the Huge flag, one without.
