Best mod to start with?
Whats the best user mod to start with everyone?

I`ve downloaded FSport and it`s really good. I`m ready to continue from the end of FS2 so whats a good one to start with?
You`d need more than a lightsabre to kick a shivans arse!!!

I pick wahoonies for a living! Maybe that why I have no friends,

Derelict is good, and it's small.

Warzone
TBP is exceptional, but is large.
Lightning Marshall is good but part 3 is 97 meg, and the single DL version didn't download right for me.
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

I dunno.  Remember the three nodes in deep space where you have to escort ships across?  (from FS1 when Vasuda was being annihilated)  They were awfully close together and to say that's a lagrange point is pushing it since in deep space there are so many weak gravitational fields from so many sources.  Those were huge nodes too.

I second Derelict.

When The Apocalypse Project and the Scroll of Atankharzim are released, they're definite takers, as well as Inferno.
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

Warzone was pretty good, but I have bad memories of having to kill a Lilith by inches in a Pegasus (the stealth fighter, right? I ain't played in a long time). Derelict was rough (I never got past the Haulian/Meridian mission, simply because freighters were apparently rated combat-worthy by a blind sociopathic retard who was trying desperately to get fired. A couple shots from one of those Lokis and that ****er was up like a Roman candle, and there were friggin' dozens of them)

Soo... Aeos Affair.:D

Chrono: Wrong thread.

Derelict
Aeos Affair
Blackwater Ops Demo
Warzone
Lightning Marshal (if it works right)

That little lot should last you a fair wee while. :)

:wtf: Since when is 50 missions small?

Unless you mean in download size. :)

I had to cheat several times in Derelict - the play balance was way off in several places.  And there was way too much plot.  But it's very interesting.  Just long. :)

My personal favorite out of those is Warzone, as it has a good combination of all of the elements of a campaign without excelling in any one area. Derelict has a lot of bugs and play balance problems, but there are a truckload of missions to make up for that. :D

There can never be too much plot.

I was imprecise.  I meant that there were too many plot elements, too many complications crammed in.  There wasn't one overarching theme.

I meant the total package.  I had to DL the various elements separately.  This is somewhat of a headache on dial-up.

it's not like you need all of it. Sure you won't have CBanis, cutscenes, voice acting, but you have the campaign :p
