I followed a link to this place from someone's signature on the VBB, lurked for a few days and then registered. By the time the VBB died out I had already settled in here.

When I first got into Freespace I used to hang around on the VBB and especially the FRED 2 board. You couldn`t hang out on that forum for long before learning about HLP as anyone who was interested in modding was sent that way (FRED forum was for FREDers not modders )

I was registered here before the VBB died but I didn`t make it my primary Freespace hangout until the VBB went down cause I liked the FRED forum a lot.

Then I lurked for a while before I joined.
