O.k. - listen up.
I made a carrier model in TS 5.1, converted it, edited it and put it in the game...
The problem is, the ship is TRANSPARENT from the outside!
I can see the inner side of the ship, which appears to be textured perfectly.
Now, I know this is a simple error, but I can't remember exactly what it is... Probably inverted the textures normals or something...
Help me out - I can't remember how to fix it...

Depends on your layout, it should look like a little plane with a curved arrow pointing from one side to the other.  Not too hard to find.  Look in the neighborhood of the mirror and smooth buttons.

point edit, a little menu will popup, search a little and you will find the icon
or open all the icons at once (it shouls be right click on trashbin, or an icon full of little cyan squares, it depends from the version) and search it

That would be useful; whenever I think I've gotten truespace down, I find more that I should know about it.

Only noteworthy because I've never touched a 3D modelling program in my life.

Conclusion: I've spent waayyyyy too much time reading the modelling threads here.

Do you know, Zylon used to be thought as the most capable FREDder of the VBB. People used to respect him for his knowledge of FS2, and put up with constant sarcasm because he was useful to have around. Now... he just sits there ripping in to newbies. Oh well.
