Here it is! The first screenshot from my first ever mission for my campaign! Woohoo :)

It shows the GTF Angel in action :)

Can you guys please take a course for screen shot making or something.  All I see is two lasers...and the bare outline of a ship.  For the love of god...get some lighting into the picture or a nebula or something so we can see the shape even if its dark.

This has been a public service annoucement. :D

I'm sure whatever you've got is ultra cool...I'd just like to be able to see it without going into photoshop :D (and yes, my monitor has a high level of brightness and contrast and I still cannot see).

I already made some more screenshots, and changed things in that mission, i'll post'm when i'm satisfied with them :)

BTW, venom, is it ok if i include this ship with my campaign? The file i obtained didn't contain any readme file so i don't know what i can & can not do to it ;)

i'm beginning to think that making screens of dark ships over a black background without any lighting is one of the rules of the universe:)

Is that just a standard Valkyrie (sp?) with some table modifications?

My GTF Angel for 'Time of Change' I coloured white* (why white I have no idea), via the tbl file remove a gun and made it slower. If you haven't change the colour to make it look different to the Val.

*I'm thinking of putting some stylised feather on the under side of the wings - to make the look more angelish.

Re the screenies on your site -

Keep in mind that the Angel and TC TRI are at the absolute least about 20 years apart, so unless this campaign takes place around the FS2 timeline and just uses the Angel in the same way the Apollo has been used (as an old/civillian ship) change the containers to TAC 1s.

From what I could see of it one pair of engines had been removed. If you remember the first breifing where the Valkeryie shows up it says somthing like a couple of engines had been added to the Angel Scout fighter to make the Valkeryie.

No, it's a ship by venom2506, only 2 engines, it has it's own .pof & texturemap aswell.

I might change the textures tho (with venom2506's permission offcourse ;))

Thx alot for the info :) I had no idea about the age of the TR-TCI's, i'll be changing them to TAC-1's later today.

The GTDR-Amazon should be about the same age as the angel, right?

I think so too, but the trail on that ship bugs me, the top 2 trails should be lower if you ask me, they should be just above the engines, but alas, i have no clue is this can be edited or not :)

Amazon Drone is fine, they were present in FS1 and presumeably well before it as well (or at least to my knowledge there's nothing that says they're new, so there's nothing stopping you from saying they're old :D)

And :wtf: on those trails... They look like nebula trails, but you don't appear top be in a nebula... is this some kind of SCP thing? Meh. If they are nebula trails, then they can be edited in the ships table entry in the ships.tbl file. Use Modelview 32 to get the exact coordinates (place a dummy firing point to find the correct spot on your fighter, then put the coordinates into the spot in the ships table entry.)

yeah, yeah, you can use it, it's been done for that ;)
You can reskin it too if you want. As for the changes, I removed two engines, made the nose pointyn removed the gun pod under the ship "nose", I think i've changed some stuff in the wings too, and removed small winglets on the back. changed map brightness too. all in all, a 10 minutes job, I didn't push it much ;) ( it was a request ).


for my website, well the link was good before, then the forums crashed, when they came back they switched all the sigs to the ones people had a year or so ago, didn't bother changing it.
