Good old FS2 view and printscreen.  I had PSP at the time, but didnt know many of its useful features.


I just finished this, i wanted to see how new software (truespace) and what i had learned compaired to old methods.

Gliteratto sure coughed up a nice nebula.

The first pic has to many stars.
But the second is perfect.The Sathannas is soooooo beautiful.

beams are dull in your first one. I like the second better

The Sath, naturally, looks much nicer, but the beams still need work. Not sure what they need, but they don't look quite right.

they need to fire at diffrent angles instead of all going straight ahead, that and more glowy ...

Well the first pic was pre-Glitterato, hence sucky starfield. It was also pre Truespace, and pre screen layering.

I could turn the sath round a bit, more like the angle in the older pic, so the beams would separate a bit.  As for more glow... it doesnt look very free-spacy  :wink:

Dude, let him put as many stars in as he wants... depending on where you are and how much you squint your eyes, you could justify their being a sky full of stars or with no stars at all...

Well, anyway, here's a Hubble shot which shows that there are lots of stars. Besides that, it's a matter of the artist's taste.
