Analazon made a bomber!
Here it is:

   

I am thinking that it may be destined to be a beam bomber or a cruise missile carrier (ICBM type thing, 10km range, enough firepower to blow a leviathin or deimos with one hit, can only carry 1). I am looking for someone to texture it. Whaddya think?

too many polys used on round bits and not enough on other bits - basiclay you need to stretch the poly limit till it breaks, cut a few of and convert it!!! (oh yer and add loads of other stuff before that)

Um, law enforcer, It has 259 polys un-triangulated, it is converted, and I intentionally made the round parts very round. What other bits are you talking about? Where do you think I need to put more polys in?

Hey, nice...   That bomber is nicely designed, and has a low polycount to boot! Now we just have to slap some textures on - can't wait

Oh, thanx. It was kinda designed to look pulp-fictioney (Hey, I invented a new word!), and is there anyone who would think about texturing for me? I cannot texture (beleive me, I've tried) and it would be much appreciated if I could find a texturer for this model.

Hey, that looks pretty good.  I'd like to see a long range tactical weapon, that disables subsystems and turrets instead of destroying ships outright.  But that will be the ship to carry it

under 300 polys! arr! get some more on it!

I, personaly, would say you need more curviness and angles (90 degrees kind not flying heavnly thing) around it. It might be all right with textures - And I would say that unless your creating a MOD for old 60's sci-fi stlye then its 'bad' but if you are great! However this is only my badly expressed opinon.

P.S. I don't mean the round bits need any more curves.

K, I made a new one totally from scratch, and I know I need to put more detail on it, but i need to know where. It is 150 polys un-triangulated, and I am thinking that this could be a drone ship (A.K.A. Homeworld) but in a fighter/bomber form, or it could still be a massive missile carrier. Heres the pic:

             


Ok, I made another version of it, this one is a drone carrier that has one massive cannon on it, and only has 154 polys:

well, I have to say it shows... I think the design could be really interesting, but you shouldn't try to keep the polycount that low. A reasonable polycount to aim for is 300/350 polys. Concentrate on the cockpit, maybe

Well, for one thing Venom, I am not trying to keep the poly count low  . In fact, I am trying to do the exact opposite. I will go with your suggestion and try to improve the cockpit (it is currently 1 polygon   ). If anyone else has any ideas, please tell me!

the first one (second on page) looks like a good fighter if you built up the cockpit and the engines. What about wings?

The thrid one (last) looks like a carrier for the shivans with a few more spikes a bit more detail on areas like the triangular cone in middle and bigger engines etc.

(MUCH better than orignal...)

Yep better but on 'normal' ships the cockpit usualy draws attention to it so you still need more detail for a cockpit.
Othewise its a VERY 'original' (or strange) design, proably be confusing to fight not exactly knowing what all this stuff is for...
