Well, since many of you are posting sketches and drawings here's one sketch of mine (and a new one too).

She's the main female character of my comic (which is also my Diploma Work). Nina Salo (yep, she's Finnish)

I like the style, but the neck is too long

i use a 0.5 mechanical, (for sketching) pigma microns, and photoshop 6..

i see.

i'm usually limited to, either pigma microns or some "uni pin" pens when ever the pigmas bleed too much into the paper i use..(when i ink) hence the wanting to get a tablet... i might save up to get a decent-sized one, after all i got my 19" monitor the same way, and that was worth about the same may take less time tho;)

Yea sure the more expencive ones really are better but if you are in a hurry, just buy a cheaper Wacom and I think that you should be just fine. It does depend on the person and way one draws though.

her shoulders are raised in my book. It's just that the shirt is hiding the truth.
Then again, you propably draw bodies a bit differently than me so it looks flawed to you
