Yes there is, just put it in the tables, and map some keys with FS2_Open. Boosh!

Back on topic... anyone gonna do this? I think Venom's on it, judging from this thread.

yeah, that's me. also gotten the magnum, the GL, the hood, the hawk, etc etc. even made the GX from D1/D2 ( for some reason, I couldn't convert those ).

hop, I'm done, I think I've broken a new time record :D

790 polys, 1 1024*1024 map. I still have lot of room on the map, probably add more elements for a dead shivan, etc, all using the same map.

Galactic Emperor, you can add that to your list, mesh and map by venom, conversion by woomeister ( I'm sure he will :D ), for ott.
don't worry, once it's converted, i'll put it available right away anyway, but it'll find a place in ott w/o a doubt :)

isn't the pic big enough? the plasma beam is exactly where it's supposed to be ( I've made it bigger after making that pic tho ), and the red eyes are orange, coz the pics I have from volition have shivan with orange eyes, not red.

i never seen any cutscenes with shivans, just the images on the descentnet website, since my FS is kinda, uhm, you know, like, err,i dopmn't wanna get banned like Stealth. but the real version is on it's way.



request: can youmake am animation of a shivan chewing up a (Free) Terran?

im searching, but all i found for now is a fighter and a bunch of red x's :sigh:

edit: it'sconfirmed, all i can find are red x's, i ran a search on high poly shivan in venom's posts, but to no avail.

does anyone have it?

well I had it hosted at HLP, but since the guys at 3dap have found funny to delete my folder for a fake reason, it's lost for me.
well I still have it in a scene, but it's not in basic pause and it's a pain to put back on default.

How do you do those models anyway Venom? The only thing i ever managed to model (sofar) was a bucket, and the texturing went out of the window... ;)

BTW, can ships in FS be set to "move"? It would be cool if we could actually animate those shivans ingame :) (or a preset movement pattern would also do)

As for surgery... no thx ;)
