On the agenda...

Bugs, and squashing them. There have been way too many of them since 3.5, and we should get them under control before we think about releasing 3.6.

Getting the missing code since the DX merge back under one roof. Bobboau has mentioned that a lot of his stuff went missing, and we should check if that's the case for anyone else.

Updating the readme.

If anyone else has any suggestions, post them in this thread, and they'll be added.

Here's how to find us...
IRC:
Server: www.maxgaming.net port 6667
Channel: #fs2source

Alternatively, use the web-page-based IRC client at http://www.shatteredstar.com/irc/index.html and type /join #fs2source to join the proper channel.

See if this happens this time.

Note: There will be a prize announced as an incentive to get some things done ;)

EST: North American Eastern Standard time (daylight time actually), is nominally GMT -5.

Discussing everything will take too long, and we have some monstrously outstanding issues that need resolved.

EST changes to GMT-4 during Daylight Savings time, which is currently the case.  So the Chat will be 4:00 PM GMT.  Check out http://www.time.gov for help figuring out when it will be held in your time zone.

I'm going to be offline for a few days, so I don't know if I'll be there or not.  The one issue I wanted to bring up was AI enhancements.  It has been a bit of a hot topic lately, and if someone stepped up to the plate to code some more maneuvers for the AI to use, people would be happy.  This thread has more details.  I, in my sort-of-able-to-look-at-code-and-figure-out-what-is-going-on state, have done what I can to work out how best new AI code should be implemeted, but writing the code is beyond my capacity.  Someone with more knowledge and skill than I have could become the new local hero if they took this up.

Does this mean, if new bugs are introduced next time around, they'll get a prize if they fix them after the next meeting? :nervous:
