I think I've got the AI problem (more or less) solved so they don't shoot like uber snipers from hell with machineguns anymore.
Thanks indirectly to venom for the idea, I've ramped the $rotdamp of all the fighters WAYYYY up (average of 1.0 to 1.5) so the computer can't 'zero-in' on you as accurately as it used to (tends to spray shots a little more).
Of course this increases the technical challenge of simply flying the thing but in a strange way, I think it actually adds to the fun of the game

(Of course I'm sure some of you out there have called me a sadist ******* from the last two releases of the conversion
