They weren't for me, they were for Santa! I mean, admit it, Santa dancing around with his shirt off in that hat with lopsided pecs would make just about anyone haaaaard...

Science alone of all the subjects contains within itself the lesson of the danger of belief in the infallibility of the greatest teachers in the preceding generation . . .Learn from science that you must doubt the experts. As a matter of fact, I can also define science another way: Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts. - Richard Feynman

I got this strange feeling after reading this thread. Kinda uncomfortable. Stryke, try holding the two sides of the wound together and supergluing it, works for me when I chisel my hand at work.

Superglue was invented for use on the battle field for medics, was it not?

oh, I tried that, when I was younger. it's stupid, after that, you get to remove a big chunk of dried glue, which will make you bleed again :p
well I really bleed a lot, I just put my hand under cold water for a long time. that works for me, at least. and that way, blood doesn't gather on the wound and you can look at your own bone :D ( call me weird, but that's not something you don't see that often, your own bones :D )

I wasn't saying put it INTO the wound, christ knows I've made that mistake before now. You hold it together as tight as you can and glue the top of the skin together. Like a plaster only translucent.

I know you don't put it IN :D but glue is liquid, it will always slip inside...

It depends really, where I work we use two different kinds of glue, one is really thick and you could easily lay that on top and it wouldn't seep in. I wouldn't recommend snorting it, it burns.
